My name is Juan.
I've been working in software engineering since 2013. Previously at Expedia and now at a payments company where I help build and scale systems that handle large volumes reliably.
I know how to build products that last.
I know how to scale infrastructure.
And I care deeply about user experience.
Creepypasta.app is the kind of reading experience I always wished existed.
Why This Exists
This platform is built around two beliefs:
1. Readers deserve immersion.
No distracting ads. No clutter. No endless scroll designed to trap you.
Just a focused, intentional reading experience.
2. Writers deserve a real home.
A permanent presence.
A profile where readers can easily discover their other work.
A place where their stories aren't lost in a feed 48 hours later.
Writers should be discoverable as creators, not just as one-off posts.
Where We Are
This is still early. It's in beta. There will be rough edges.
But it's being built deliberately, with long-term sustainability in mind.
